An Inverness teenager threatened to "slash the faces" of police who had been called to his home following a disturbance.
Inverness Sheriff Court heard that 19-year-old Lyall Wallace's mother and cousin were also in the Bridgeview Drive property at 1.55am on August 20, 2023 when police arrived.

Fiscal depute Adele Gray said that Wallace appeared to be under the influence and he ignored police efforts to calm him down, instead threatening the officers.
"He was saying things like 'I will pan your face in, I will give you a square go and I will slash your faces’. He continued to be aggressive when in the police cells."
Sheriff Eilidh Macdonald deferred sentence until May 23 on Wallace, who admitted threatening behaviour, for a drug treatment and testing order assessment.
